1 Year Service Award

Yesterday, I was invited to attend a company's Service Award Presentation Ceremony in the morning. Basically, it was a ceremony to recognise those who served the company for 1yr, 3 yrs, 5 yrs, 10 yrs, 15yrs, 20yrs, 25yrs and 30yrs. However, I and my colleague were there to actually witness the Award giving to those who worked more than 5 yrs! Of ocurse, there was Buffet Breafast for all of us.
At first, I was told that for those who served the company for 1yr+ will be given a Pen. After a long waiting in the canteen to witness the presentation and makan, we still not yet receive our gift! I and Seen Ying were wondering what kind of Pen the company will give us... Kilometrico Ball Pen? RM 10 Parker? Mont Blanc? and where can we get?The funny thing was, Seen Ying told me that we will claim our Pen from a box which full of Pens! Sound like it is a "Kilometrico Ball Pen" right? haha.....claim from our department SEXYtary who kept all of the stationeries for our Department!

Anyway, we got Sheaffer not Kilometrico! I am wondering how much for one? I tried to google Sheffer and I found this link which looks very classy. By the way, I am pretty sure it is just a normal and budget gift to us! An appreciation gift from company only ma, what to expect right? Initially, we were trying to joke on what kind of Pen we will get but at least we got Sheaffer! Better than none!

For those who worked more than 5 yrs, I salute you guys! I am sure, I will not be able to work in the same company for more than that unless I got a better benefit ($) from year to year or else I will only stay for 2yrs++. Agree with me? Will you stay for more than that? I am sure you won't as well. Kok is signing off! Gonna sleep early or else cant wake up!
