Xmas and Tong Zhi Celebration with the elderly

On 21st of December 2008, Leo Club of Penang (City) had sucessfully organised their annual Xmas Project " A date with Santa and Leos " at Rumah Charis, Relau. The main purpose of this project is to celebrate Xmas and as well as "Tong Zhi" with the residents of the home and of course making sure they have fun and enjoy the party.

The project was commenced with playing games. There were about 5 game booths were set up for the residents to play before we proceed to Tea Party and X'mas Carolling.

From the games, there were a lot of smiling faces which we expected to have for this project. Smiling faces to the oragniser and members mean we had successfully brought them Joy and Happiness in this festive season. Job well done to all members who had participated in this project.

After having all the fun, it was a X'mas Carolling brought to us by "Ow Lau Shi". After 20 minutes of singing performance by the kids, they helped to distributed the X'mas Present that donated by my colleagues and members while they were having their refreshment that prepared by members and friends.

This is the present that distributed to the residents which consists of various daily necessities to each of them. Last but not least, special thanks to all the donors and helpers for this project. Looking forward to work with you for coming service project again.
