Penang State Chap Goh Mei Celebration 2009 @ Explanade

I just back from Expalande not long ago. I was there to attend the Chap Goh Mei Celebration by Penang State Government with Ray. Comparing both Chap Goh Mei celebration, I would say that in term of visitors, Penang State Chap Goh Mei is much more than Penang Chinese Town Hall Chap Goh Mei Celebration. The whole explanade was crowded with alot of people just now.

Besides that, there were a few Miss Pesta selling Mandarin Orangess to the public and at the same time, you can even take a picture with those MISS PESTA 2008. Luckily those Miss Pesta are at least better than those I mentioned in my blog last time. I met my junior Sue Lin (the picture shown above) She was the Miss Charity of Miss Pesta 2008.

The fund raised from the sales of Mandarin Oranges will channel to Lions Club of Bayan Baru.

Tossing of Mandarin Oranges into the sea...... Some of them even wrote their names and wishes on the Mandarin Oranges before tossing into the sea!

This is something I found very funny whereby there were 4 dummies on the sea. One of them carried a Basket which was for the oranges to be tossed into. Special?

Dondang Sayang's bus...... I saw this bus last few years too. Nothing special but I would rather call it as Penang's Culture.... which will be good to promote Penang! I think so~
