Perak Road Market's Char Koay Teow

Char Koay Teow
Char Koay Teow aka Fried Koay Teow, is one of the Penang local hawker delicacy. Every single one of you who visit Penang will surely looking for Penang Char Koay Teow! Is a MUST for all visitors to Penang! Furthermore, it was declared as a traditional delicacy among other 172 items under the National Heritage listing recently.
There are a lot of Char Koay Teow stalls in Penang. When I were asked by friends from other palce which one is the best, I have no answer for them because I don't really like to eat Stir Fried foods due to pimples will easily come out after I eat. : ) In addition, there are a lot!

If I want to eat Char Koay Teow in the Morning, I will prefer go to Perak Road's Market, a place I can eat a lot of my favourite breakfast there. For example, Char Koay Kak and Nasi Lemak at the road side, Economy Rice and Char Koay Teow!

When you go to Perak Road's Market what you have to do is...Look for this Char Koay Teow Stall. Is located inside the market next to the Soya Bean stall, same row as the children's clothes selling stall. I am not good in telling you where is the exact place in detail but I'm very sure you can find this hawker stall easily. The uncle uses Charcoal to fry Koay Teow so you will enjoy the taste of burnt charcoal while eating. This is his trademark for Char Koay Teow! Don't know where is Perak Road's Market, try to visit this Map link now! Is cheap and of course delicious! RM 3.00 per plate served with prawns, cockles, eggs, bean sprouts, fish balls, and "Lap Cheong" .
