Happy Wesak Day 2009

First of all, Happy Wesak Day and Happy Holiday Day to all my friends and readers! I just back from duty an hour ago. Trying to share a few photos of my wesak eve before I go to sleep. I've been joining Wesak Day for at least 4 years if not mistaken. From an unknown to become a Chairman to Friends of Foyi (Youth) and also Chairman to the Cultural and Educational Committee. Why I am attached with Foyi? All because of Shu Theng, my dear sister who brought me to Foyi a few years back. Luckily she is still there helping me or else I will blame her for bringing me so much responsibilities in Foyi. "Thanks" so much!

What we usually do during wesak day? We are incharge for "the Bathing of the Buddha". On this auspicious day, Buddhist devotees will be bathing for the little buddha which we believe it will bring us lucks and prosperous year ahead.

Saturday, the actual day of wesak, I will be participating in the Wesak Day procession. If you are interested to join me, coem to Lee Kongsi Burmah Road by 5pm! ok?
