Last sunday, it was Guat Guat's birthday. Our last gathering was on my birthday but without Yuh Chian. We dined at Khuntai Restaurant, a thai restaurant located at Jalan Permatang Tengah. We ordered 4 dishes for our dinner as per above picture. One more is vege which I didnt manage to take a picture.
The environment is nice and cozy with bamboo chairs and tables. The most important thing is you will feel hot when you are enjoying your meal. If you noticed from the above picture, there was a RED bulb. If you need any help, just turn on the light and the waiter will entertain your request shortly.

The food is tasty but the soup is hot and spicy! We didn't manage to finish the steamed fish which it was served with hot and spicy soup and some vegetables. Super spicy. We ordered one jug of sugar cane juice for 3 of us. Inititaly, i thought we were not able to finish one jug of juice but empty before we settle our bill. See how spicy it was.
As usual, we talked alot while we were having our dinner. Try to check this restaurant out if you are in butterworth. Is Authentic Thai Food. If you can eat spicy food, this is your best choice.
