We had steamboat for dinner and the next day Brekafast and Lunch. haha... These 2 pictures were taken while we're having our steamboat dinner and BBQ! This will be our sweet memories as we never go out in such a big group together! Hopefully, we will have more members to join us for next trip! Make it bigger and bigger!

Lousang at Tanbum
When we were on our way back to Penang, they decided to have their dinner at Tanbum which I have to say YES or else they can't eat there. Why? Becuase I was rushing back to join the Penang Miao Hui! haha... Conincidently, that day was 7th day of Chinese New Year where everyone will be celebrating their "birthday" and Lou Sang Together! See.... very 1st time I Lou Sang with my members.... Memorable trip I would say! :P

Lunch with Poh Li at Saigon

Lunch with Poh Li at Saigon

During 4th day of Chinese New Year, I've invited her for Lunch since she was back to Penang. I remembered that day was the busiest yet memorable day to me! In the eveing right after this meet, I met up with my friends in Shaw Jhee's house and I attended my priamry school gathering dinner at night. Non stop! Luckily, I was STRONG enought to running with time!

Come back to the meeting with Poh Li, my lunch mate for that day. We had our lunch at Miss Saigon Vietnamese Cuisine at e-Gate. This was our 1st time having meal in this restaurant. Since both of us never try Vietnamese Cuisine before why not we just try since we didn't have any idea where to eat.

We ordered Traditional Chicken Noodle Soup, Vietnamese Chicken Noodle Soup , Summer Style Northern Roll, Lemongrass Tea (gerli) and Rose Bud tea. The total bill was RM 49.50 if not mistaken as I just make credit card payment. Frankly speaking, if you don't like to eat vege, this restaurant might not be your choice for dining. Everything dish you ordered for sure it will served with a lot of green vegetables. Perhaps, you may have a try althought you not really like vege... Vege is GOOD for digestion! haha.... The serving is BIG. Even me, myself, not able to finish up on that day.

Anyway it was a wonderful lunch to me as it has been a long time never kapster with Poh Li. Talk-Eat-Talk... Sharing her singapore study life and so on.... bla bla bla.... that's all... Looking forward for next meet up soon!

晋江会馆己丑年大团拜
Friends around me do know that ahKOK is very active in NGOs. I joined a few Penang NGOs and I am the active member to Leo Club of Penang (City), Penang Buddhist Free School Ex-Pupils Association (Foyi), Jin Jiang Hui Kuan, Life and Ordinary member to YMM and Ch'ng Si Bee Tong.
晋江会馆己丑年大团拜
Today, i'm going to blog on Jin Jiang Hui Kuan which I seldom blog on it comparing to Leo and Foyi. They organise less activities than Leo and Foyi. That's why you will not see much post related to this association. I've been 3 years CNY Open House Emcee for this assocaiton continuosly meaning I've joined this association for more than 3 years.
晋江会馆己丑年大团拜
Every year is the same. My partner will be Shu Theng although both of us rejected them a number of times. No changes! WE NEED CHANGES haha.... like what our Pakatan Government used to say! haha... So do i.
晋江会馆己丑年大团拜
Helping them to take some photos while MC-ing. I really fedup with my 400D recently. Not working fine. The color and sharpness are totally can not compete with Nikon or may be my body itslef got that problem since i owned her! :P
晋江会馆己丑年大团拜

Perak Road Market's Char Koay Teow

Char Koay Teow
Char Koay Teow aka Fried Koay Teow, is one of the Penang local hawker delicacy. Every single one of you who visit Penang will surely looking for Penang Char Koay Teow! Is a MUST for all visitors to Penang! Furthermore, it was declared as a traditional delicacy among other 172 items under the National Heritage listing recently.
There are a lot of Char Koay Teow stalls in Penang. When I were asked by friends from other palce which one is the best, I have no answer for them because I don't really like to eat Stir Fried foods due to pimples will easily come out after I eat. : ) In addition, there are a lot!

If I want to eat Char Koay Teow in the Morning, I will prefer go to Perak Road's Market, a place I can eat a lot of my favourite breakfast there. For example, Char Koay Kak and Nasi Lemak at the road side, Economy Rice and Char Koay Teow!

When you go to Perak Road's Market what you have to do is...Look for this Char Koay Teow Stall. Is located inside the market next to the Soya Bean stall, same row as the children's clothes selling stall. I am not good in telling you where is the exact place in detail but I'm very sure you can find this hawker stall easily. The uncle uses Charcoal to fry Koay Teow so you will enjoy the taste of burnt charcoal while eating. This is his trademark for Char Koay Teow! Don't know where is Perak Road's Market, try to visit this Map link now! Is cheap and of course delicious! RM 3.00 per plate served with prawns, cockles, eggs, bean sprouts, fish balls, and "Lap Cheong" .

Curi Curi Snap them in the Chicken Rice Shop Queesbay

(Marcus's Brother who said I'm older than his brother whose actual age is older than me)
(Trying to snap "SK2" spokeperson- Ln Alan In action)
(Trying to zoom nearer to see what was he doing after the meal)
I'm just sharing a few photos that I've taken during our lunch last 2 weeks back in Queensbay Mall Chicken Rice Shop with Ln Alan! I don't think he knows about these photos as I snapped these few photos from the place where I had my Chicken Rice! His facial expressions were funny at all time. I remebered I took a few of them last year in Ipoh when he was about to cry, his tear was about to drop! Sad to say that The camera I used is MX not Mine~ Or else It would funny snapping those pictures without his attention. wahaha... I will called those photos as "artistic" photos because they don't pose purposely just for photo shooting! is NATURALLY!
Finish crapping!

Canned Food Collection and Donation project 2009

Canned Food Collection Donation project
Annual Chinese New Year Community Service Project is here once again! Same as previous year, we managed to organise our annual canned Food Collection and Donation to Old Folks Home project. I love this project actually. The reason behind is we're helping people during Chinese New Year. We're helping the residents in Taman Free School to do some donation, to so good deed during this festive season. After the collection, we sent the donations to Old Folks Home. Due to low supply of donation in kind this year, we decided to donate to only one home, that is Silver Jubilee Home!
Canned Food Collection Donation project
Furthermore, we've paid a visit to Rumah Charis Relau last year's Xmas already. Therefore, we sent all the donations to Silver Jubilee since we haven't pay any visit during this fiscal year of 2008-2009 yet. According to my past experience for this service project, I would say that low supply of donation in kind was definitely impacted by the recent economic downturn. That's the reason, we did not have sufficient donation in kind to be distributed to 2 Old Folks Home for this year!
Canned Food Collection Donation project
As usual, we took a Group photo before heading to Old Folks Home to mark an end of the collection. See, not much doantions we collected on that day! Sad... Anyway, we had successfully carried out this annual CNY project. Other than donation in kind, we also managed to raise RM 250 from friends for this project too- Zhang Hao's Grandpa, OngLai and PurpleFish. Terima Kasih banyak banyak!
Canned Food Collection Donation project

Canned Food Collection Donation project
After paying a visit to Chesire Home for physically disabled persons (Hair Cut), Penang Home for Infirm and Aged (Tea Party and Health Project), St. Nicholas Home for the blind and visually impaired persons (Hearing Screening Project), Rumah Charis Relau (X'mas Tea Party and Games), YRJS Handicapped Children's Home (Donation) and Silver Jubilee Home, hopefully we will continue our good work and helping those in need in this fiscal year 2008-2009 so that Leo Club of Penang (City) will emerge to be the strongest and outstanding service club in Penang! :P
