Meeting for All Star Night Charity Dinner by Leo Club of Penang City

Earth Hour 60, what have you done on that night, 8.30pm to 9.30pm? I was joining my leo pals for "kapsiao" and club anniversary meeting for "All Star Night" Charity Dinner at Starbucks Queensbay Mall. Our initial plan was to go up to the top to witness Light ON and OFF for Penang Island. Unfortunately, it was raining. So what we can do was sit down at Starbucks for Meeting. :P A lot of discussions were brought up in the meeting. our Charity Dinner will be held on 2nd of May with a lot of FUN and Enjoyable programmes prepared by us. The most attractive prize for that night of course will be a gadget, an item that everyone of you will like. Stay tune for the Dinner Information. All fund raised will proceed to Foyi Haemodailysi Center.

VKEONG.com is one of the BEST Food Blog that everyone of us will visit as the blogger like to hunt for nice food and enjoy eating anything that he likes. In other words, I will rather call this guy as prominent food blogger with very good food review, paticulary in Penang and KL or anywhere that he goes.

I enjoys reading his food review as I found that his blog is informative and interesting than any other food blog. A very detailed food review I would say. However, he is leaving his reader soon and calling for buyer for his VKEONG.com at RM 10,000.

I think most of you will be suprised that his blog worth RM 10,000. The main selling point is Vkeong.com is No. 1 Food Blog in Malaysia! Furthermore, he claims that there are thousands over visitors daily. Most interesting is, vkeong.com generates RM 3,000 monthly from advertisement revenue. Wau.... Awesome! I wonder when can i earn extra income like this food lover who always armed with his camera, hunting for food everywhere!

Farewell Lunch at OXO Cafe Queensbay

A few days back, we went out for farewell lunch specially for Ms Yaa Lay and Seen Ying who are going to leave us "behind" soon for a better opportunity! :) Their last day will be coming Tuesday. They are so happy after they've tendered their resignation to their boss. They will be enjoying thier BETTER life out from their current working life. Anyway, wish you both have a better bright future! Life Change, is the only phrase that I will use to describe you!

Come back to our lunch. We had our farewell Lunch at OXO Cafelab Queensbay, a newly open Restaurant that serve a varityof cuisines: Asian, Western and Local. I was not really look into the menu. I only look for CHEAP set lunch. So that's what I ordered for my lunch on that day. Thier set lunch after discount RM9.90++ came with a Soup, Bread+ Butter, Main Dish, Dessert and a drink.

Here you go, my main dish for the set lunch. Fish fillet? I forgot the exact name but what i can is the fried fish is like what my mum fried last few weeks. A fish fillet which can be bought from any hypermarket. The taste is exactly what my mum prepared for Dinner last few weeks. :) I was like OMG when I put it into my mouth!

Here you go for the Dessert that came along. A pieceof chocolate cake, a cookie and a small piece of watermelon. I like the cake. Nice! Overall, the environment of the restaurant is cosy. It is recommended for couples and gathering. Free WIFI of course. I twit Live that day for everything I had with my newly attahced GF. Check it out here.

Sunshine Banquet Hall Penang

Sunshine Banquet Hall, a banquet hall that I never been there before. In the past few monhts, I was told that this year Multiple District 308 Leo Forum 2009 will be held in Penang and the both dinners' venue will be at Sunshine Banquet Hall. I try to google and look through Sunshine Square Website but there is no information for this Sunshine BanquetHall. Finally, I saw a poster on the wall at Sunshine Square just now.

From the picture, it tells me that the Hall is Big, Spacious, Grand and Glorious. At least, I got the picture of this Hall in my mind. Or else i will classify it as Commnity Hall or School Hall :P I wonder when can we (Leo Club of Penang (City)) host an event in this hall.....

Kursus Penguruan Lepas Ijazah (KPLI)... OMG

Tahniah! Anda di panggil menduduki Ujian MTeST! Some of you guys might wonder what the hell is this? If you're smart enough, I'm sure you will understand what the above screenshoot about.

Yes, I will be sitting a test for Teaching Course because I plan to pursue KPLI course to become a qualified Teacher ! Can you believe? haha... I wonder what if I really shortlisted, Can I still name myself as KOKahKOK a year later when I'm qualified to be a National School teacher? Blogger= Teacher! What a wonderfil combination! Anyhow, I think we will be going for the test this coming Saturday before Kampachi! Hope we are able to answer all the questions prepared for the KPLI Test.

I'm damn nervous la wei~ I need to sit for 2 and half hour test on Kuantitatif, Bahasa Inggeris, INSAK, Analitikal and Verbal (Bahasa Melayu). Furthermore, got Malay speaking! OMG.. The total question will be 245! swt~ Ok la... Let me read the peratuan tomorrow. Now is time for Pet Society before sleep! Drop me your view and comment. Am i suitable to go for this course? or remain as factory accountant?

Swimming and Batu Ferringhi Makan Outing

Lengzai Louis....Louis Ong... 1st time swim swim.....not my himself but under the supervision of all of us! He is just 1 year old. He enjoyed swim swim last few weeks while were having our outings! Damn cool while he was swimming!

By the way, just a little secret to share right here, do you noticed that why everyone was in the pool but not me? The reason is ahKOK tak tahu swim! :( shame shame hor? Anyhow, I'm learning. Althought is too late but late better than never right?

Of course, our outings will always ended up with makan. Without makan, this will not be considered as our OUTING! After swimming in one of the apartments, we all headed to Batu Ferringhi. Our initial plan was to visi Sunset Cafe but it was raining so no sunset for us. By the way For those who wish to go to Sunset Cafe, you may based on the below name card and go. Turn right after Park Royal Hotel and then turn left to Sunset Cafe wheread turn right to Beach Corner Seafood, Nyonya cuisine.

We ordered their signature dishes- YAM DUCK (鸭芋), Spring Roll, Curry Fish... etc. However, I was told that another signature dish Inchi Kabin (Chicken) have to make an advance booking. Since we did not made any reservation, we missed this one! Anyhow, to me I will say "so...so..nia" for the foods over there.....You makan this before?

Everything gone in front of my house

Everything gone....the "human made" car park right in front of my house gone in minutes! RM 4000 gone~ Actually the lane is belongs to Penang Government. Since it was abandoned for so long, last year we decided to clean it and make a mini car park so that our cars can park inside! Unfortunately, everything gone due to the Government's project~

ahKOK's Nokia Express Music 5800

Oooo... If you noticed from the photos I shared last few days in this blog or another blog or my twitter, all the photos were taken with my new toy- Nokia Express Music 5800! I was inspired by my buddy ZH and other bloggers. That's why I bought this model. It really looks cool because I like touch screen. See, 3 of us having the same Phone! haha... ZH, ZY and ahKOK

Before that, I was asking my colleague to help me to check on the iPhone Price in US but it is more than what I expected due to the package offer there.

- 8GB Device, $199
- Penalty Charge (assume cancel after 2 mths), $ 66
- Activation and MISC, $ 50
- 2 mths air fees and commitment, $ 200

So overall, it costs $ 515+, is about RM 2000+. Not worth if gonna purchase based on the package above. That's the reason, I've chosen Nokia Express Music 5800!

My Seagate HDD is back but.....

Last Tuesday, a brand new Seagate Portable hard disk was delivered to me but all my important files and photos are no longer there. All GONE! I felt very sad when i was told that they do not have data recovery service for Malaysia and Singapore. What they can do is replacing a new HDD for me. By the way, my HDD spoilt due to duno what thing. I sent back last week and I got a new unit last Tuesday! Aiya, at least I got a new replacement HDD from Seagate. Thumbs up for their Customer Service. They even sent me additional USB cable to try before I sent back the spoilt unit. Now, I very scared of using HDD. Will backup the files inside the hard disk in CD or in PC. Or else..... I will GILA again!

Pic quality not really as good as dslr or any cam more than 3.2mb at least u can me too i dis pic rite? Addicted to 5800, exploring just now until now n even havent go to bathroom yet! Omg.

Louis Ong's 1 year Old Birthday @ Greenlane McD

It was Louis Ong's 1 year old Birthday, son to my colleague- Sharon! Time really flies. He is growing bigger and bigger while we are getting older and older. OMG!

Last saturday was his birthday celebration at Greenlane McD. All of us were invited to attend and celebrate Louis Ong's birthday together. Louis is another baby boy that we grow toegther with him. From an "egg" in his mum's body turned into a baby! :P Louis and another girl girl ah Ying are the kids of our colleagues that growing up together with us since they are born. We used to go out together for all our outings. Kids are growing up but we're growing "old". :( They are cute by the way. All of us like them so so much! Sayang~

Talking about my colleagues, frankly speaking, I'm very glad to have all these colleagues. Seriously, I like this kind of "working life" althought is abit "costly" comparing to my last company. I used to say I belongs to a great team but not a great company :p. Why not a great company? Of course it is all about $$$. I believe that there won't be Double "Win" situation whereby you can get a great team and great company at the same time. To me, there will be only one for us!...correct me if i'm wrong .... If you do have a great team, great superior, great company, please let me know...make me aware! haha....

Taking the above photos with 400D and 50mm...Not really satisfy...hope to get a better body one day with better lens but I don't have extra $ for that! .... Recently, I'm thinking of getting 5800 for myself... planning to get it by this week if possible. My current mobile phone was given by Disted Stamford College in year 2004 if I'm not mistaken. It has been 5 years I didn't change a new phone. Aweson? ...... Hopefully I can get this before going for any other camera gears or gadgets......

Hi folks, something to share right here especially to those photokaki. Mark your calendar from 20th March to 5th April 2009, you can print your photos at Harvey Norman Photo Centre Queensbay Mall for only 35cents per 4R photo.

Harvey Norman Queensbay is the only photo priting shop that I visit the most to print the photos that I want just because I no need to wait for a few hours to get those photos. Furthermore, the color of the priting is acceptable comparing to those instant one. No don't worry. You can try this if you have a lot of sweet memories to be printed out during this promotion period. RM 0.35 only...(normal price RM 0.60).. By the way, if you would like to print it during this promotion period, I don't think they will give you the photos in a few minutes due to high demand.... Check it out... I gonna print some of the photos too in case my softcopy missing in action I have HARD copy! :P

Some updates on my company that I'm currently working for. Every friend of mine was asking me how is my work. What I can say is Temporary I'm safe! There will be 50% cut on the headcount in Penang. Last week, the company offered the employees with VSS (Voluntary Separation Schemes). The offer not really attractive comparing to other companies but this is what a non-profit making company can give to the affected employees during this hard time.

Just now we saw some of the production people left the company after lunch and they were escort by sthe ecurity guards. Walau~ I realised that the company hired additional BIG men to standby in the company in case there is any fight happens when they were informed for VSS/RIF. Tomorrow the company will start retrenchment... I am sure there will be a lot of people leaving the plant after they were told to leave.... sad...

Before the day comes, I received an email from one of the colleague with subject title "If u can't find me in office 1 day..." and ......
