Found a street lady!

Epic? It gave me the feeling of old penang with ladies selling sugar canes at the roadside! This is what you can only see in Penang Annual Chinese New Year Miao Hui (Cultural Festival).

This picture was taken with my new toy- Canon EOS 60D with Tamron 17-50MM, F/2.8.

CNY Visit to Alor Star Lion and Leos especially 2nd Leo DVP Steven Chew

It was an awesome Chinese New Year I had celebrated this year.
Other than house hopping in Penang, I had paid a special visit to Alor Star as well as Kulim!

Thanks to Zhang Hao for accompanying me to visit Steven in Alor Star as well as Lion Khoo in Kulim and be my half way driver back from Kulim.

It has been sometimes since my last meeting with Steven as well as his club members! I'm glad and felt honored for being able to join them to pay a CNY visit to Lion Chong who is the member of Lions Club of Alor Star (Host). We had a great time of sharing as well as chit-chatting.

Looking forward to visit more friends in other state in coming years! It was indeed a great moment! CNY is all about sharing! Yes we did! We shared laughter and care in this festive season! Rooooar

Penang Kek Lok Si Octagonal Pavilion of Kuan Yin 2011

I'm back to my blog once again. First of all gong xi fa cai to everyone who are still viewing this blog! may you have a great year ahead! During Chinese New Year, I'm sure none of the penangnites will miss the opportunity to visit Penang Kek Lok Si as there is a display of lights on the temple which only happen once a year!! I've paid a visit last few days and take a few pictures with my newly bought 60D :D The above 2 pictures were snapped using the live view feature of 60D. Although it is not perfect but at least i can share the result of using live-view "click n snap". So if you haven't pay any visit to Kek Lok Si yet, spend a sometime at night and visit before lights off. Remember to catch up with it before it is too late :D Gong Xi Fa Cai!!!!
